SKëLD - Hypocras

A slightly moist demi gros blend of toasted Oriental, Straight Virginia and Tennessee Burley, flavoured with cinnamon, cloves, Sicilian Lemon, nutmeg, ginger and cardamon, cased and moistened with a tincture of Grains of Paradise. These were all the spices used in flavouring wine, which was popular throughout Britain in the early middle ages and dates from Roman times.
